CarolAnn Daniel is a nationally recognized leader and expert in diversity, equity, inclusion and anti-racism theory and practice. She is a professor of social policy at Adelphi University.

 

As a respected scholar and scientist, Dr. Daniel has been a champion for social justice both in her research and practice. She has led and co-directed several research studies on health disparities and community-based prevention interventions. Dr. Daniel has authored numerous publications including peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts, and book chapters and has presented at national and international conferences.

 

Dr Daniel was the founding Chair of the North East Chapter of the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education.  She is an experienced presenter and change agent with more than twenty years of experience helping organizations and schools create high performing and supportive environments through employee development and leadership coaching to sustain achievable, equitable, inclusive and anti-racist goals. She holds a Ph. D in Social Welfare Policy and Administration from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
